Caribbean Community Skills Certification

Caribbean Community Skills

(a) A person who is a citizen of a qualifying Caribbean Community member state and who holds a passport of that State may apply to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Trinidad and Tobago for a Certificate of Recognition of Caribbean Community Skills Qualification and must be a person mentioned in one of the following categories:

(i)   University Graduate

(ii)  Sports Person

(iii)  Musician

(iv) Artiste

(v)  Media Worker.

(b) Application forms are obtained from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

(c) All applications must submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

(d) The Minister of Foreign Affairs shall issue a Certificate of Recognition of Caribbean Community Skills Qualification to such a person if that person meets the requirements.


Requirements for CCSN Certificate

  Proof of Citizenship of Caribbean Community Member State

  Production of Certificate of Recognition issued from applicant’s home country

  Certificates or Diplomas of Educational Qualifications

  Birth/Marriage/Divorce Certificates (where applicable).

Application Fee: NIL.

An individual who holds a Certificate of Recognition of Caribbean Community Skills Qualification issued in Trinidad and Tobago is entitled to enter Trinidad and Tobago for a period of an indefinite duration.


Indefinite Stay

Proof of Citizenship of Caribbean Community Member State

Production of Certificate of Recognition issued in Trinidad and Tobago

Police Certificate of Character from your country of residence and /or home country

Medical Forms 40 and Form 40A

Birth/Marriage/Divorce Certificates (where applicable)

Completed Immigration Extension Form.

Application Fee: NIL.

The spouse and/or dependents of an individual, who holds entitlement to an indefinite stay in Trinidad and Tobago, is/are also entitled to a stay of indefinite duration.


Spouse and dependents

Valid passport of country of citizenship

Police Certificate/s of character from country of residence and /or home country for spouse and dependents 18 years and over

Proof of Parentage (where applicable)

Medical Forms 40 and Form 40A

Birth Certificate

Marriage /Divorce Certificates (where applicable)

Proof of Spouse /Parent Certificate of Recognition issued in Trinidad and Tobago

Completed Immigration Extension Form.

Application Fee: NIL.
